It doesn't seem to have worked that way for the last couple of years where the GOP had only a small Senate majority. Are the Democrats + the couple of indies less disciplined?
I'd suspect too that Biden will recognise the need to work across the aisle so odd Republican could be picked off even if their Georgia gains are limited to just the one seat already called.
