BiL died @ 48 - lurking in system for 30 years or thereabouts.
Former neighbour caught it as a boy in Rhodesia as he lived near the mines.... died in his 70's of mesolthelioma.
I bet there will be a lot more - North Sea oil comes at a cost - in the 1970's there was a need for speed and Asbestos was used in rigs - partitioning and fire retardant in ONE...........many will suffer the consequences of that.... and they still have to de-commission the rigs!
