The thing is though that I don't know anyone who actually likes the choice of music played on Radio 2 apart from the incredibly tiny demographic of people who are exactly the same age as Sara Cox and like 80's disco. Because that's literally all it is now.
Zoe Ball has a constant stream of kids being forced to call in by their parents. I can't stand the high-pitched stammering of a child that has no idea what's going on but has been promised a Snickers for making mummy look good in front of her friends.
It's pretty telling that on the occasional days that they let listeners choose the music they get a totally - and I mean totally - different playlist.
