No, it is not. It is down to the standard of integrity and stability of our politicians. Our political system is infested with a steady stream of bad behaviour. Taking a party political approach to that is exactly what gets us sanctimony versus unjustifiable defence.
I posted about a behaviour of a Labour politician and then some rush forward to say why Conservatives are worse, it's the fault of Johnson etc. etc. any thing to avoid the current issue. Didn't you used to called it "whataboutery"? I always found that an irritating term but hoisting and petards and all that.,
The tendency to condemn and revile someone from the 'away' party and yet attempt to defend or minimise the offence of someone in the 'home' party is exactly why this stuff continues.
s*** behaviour is s*** behaviour and it should be dealt with as such.
Everybody should drop on an offender, even when it is their mate or at least on their side.
