Sally Clark (RIP) served 11 years of a life sentence before appeal.
Professor Sir Roy Meadow's evidence (which appears to have been totally incorrect) was the basis for hers and other mother's trails. He was the go to expert witness because the authorities knew what his input to the trial would be.
A dreadful miscarriage which ruined Sally Clark's life and probably contributed to her later problems (drink?) which lead to her death - 11 years in prison as a child murderer must be horrendous.
