I now keep a spray filled with white vinegar + a little washing up liquid in the shower and use it regularly on both the the glass and the ageing ( 8 year old) grout.

Very effective and slowly winning the war on the light brown calcium? deposits in the inaccessible corners and on the shower valve and shower head. (We are in a hard water area).

Cheap, (buy in 5L containers), and and I actually like the vinegar smell!
