An eclectic or even esoteric mix amongst the supercars but I'd like:
The Moke, the Riley Elf and that little Fiat 500 Estate.

That '88 MVS looks interesting, wonder how it compares to the GTA610's produced around that time...Similar looking.
|
I'll have the Merc 450SEL 6.9 thanks. Providing someone else pays for the petrol of course.
|
It would have to be the DB7 for me.
|
The '66 Mustang ragtop will do me.

Could do with a set of alloys.

Interesting to read that Vauxhall cars were actually made in Vauxhall once upon a time, before the company moved to Luton in 1905, I should have known that of course, as I used to live near there in a previous life.
Vauxhall (the place) got its name from Falkes de Breauté, the head of King John's mercenaries, who owned a large house in the area which was referred to as Faulke's Hall, later Foxhall, and eventually Vauxhall.
Isn't Wikipedia wonderful :)
|
And the railway station allegedly gave its name to the Russian word for railway station (allegedly of course)
|
That's right ~ vokzal.
Some quite interesting history behind Vauxhall en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vauxhall

I'c go for the Lancia Aprilia but if I was outbid I'd be fighting Perro for the Vauxhall. I might need the '32 Austin 7 as well.
I#d been assessing the larger stuff but I realised that my current steed would tow the lovely Chris-Craft Rocket speedboat !...On Golden Pond, anybody ?

Ooo, there's an Amphicar in there. I've always wanted one of those.
I remember, as a kid, my father asking me what was unusual about the car in front of us. Took me a while to spot the two props sticking out underneath it.......
|
Yeah, the Amphicar is one of mine. Shame about the metal moth in front of the rear wheel though. Occupational hazard I suppose!
Failing that the Moke (I am not a number I'm a free man!) or the Ford Thames 400E - I used to drive one of those in the late 60s and it was always an adventure.
|
Yes, lots.
But the '73 DBS V8 & the '66 Mustang I'd love.
Beautiful.

Nice, but a bit of a pain in the local multi-storey, I imagine.

But do you fancy the 45 gallons to the mile as well :(

I've fallen in love with Bentley. Ding Dong.

that looks great for the money

I wonder what shenaningans went on in lot 259?
Double bed and sink?
|
Quite a few tasty ones and a couple of dogs. For me, the Aprilia, the Adenauer Mercedes and both red Mustangs especially the manual one, and for something with a proper turn of speed the Porsche 968, ooh yeah.
All those at bargain prices. Jag XK150s absurdly expensive though.
