'Death rattle' may be a bit on the robust side but it's perfectly clear that Sheikh Rattleandroll is held in great affection by almost everyone here. People tease and sometimes scold him, but never in an unpleasant way. And he sometimes plays up to it a bit. People would hate it if he turned out to be really ill in some way. He had a facial tic for some years, a decade at least, before he died. There may have been no connection of course. Reply to this message | Report message

I am fine thanks but the new medication I am on is making me sleepy and I am a bit behind with work so been catching up on that. Also been looking for cars for my dad. The funeral last week has taken it out of me a bit as well. Had a bit of a disaster yesterday, we got a company in to insulate the loft (free with British Gas) but they damaged an overflow pipe which turned out was in use as there was a fault with the cold water tank. As a gesture of good will they have re-plumbed the entire lot and damaged is just limited to a ceiling which needs repainting a few of my LPs have water damaged sleeves. Had the scan on Monday but have to wait till I receive a phone call from the GP for the results but I get the impression they haven't found much. Also this time of year is when all my hosting, insurance and licences need renewing so been busy sorting all that out. Reply to this message | Report message
