 Darts protocol - BobbyG
Was watching bits of the recent Darts competition on Sky and noticed that on a few occasions, one player would apologise for unsporting behaviour but I never saw what they did.

The commentator on one occasion seemed to refer to one incident as "showing off".

What constitutes unsporting behaviour or showing off in darts?

Coughing/talking or otherwise trying to "catch" the eye of your opponent as he takes his shot!

At one pub i used to frequent in my youth, you soon knew if you distracted the "old boys" games! - you`d suddenly find a dart stuck in your leg, or be pelted with a handfull of Dominoes!! accompanied by several colourful bursts of "Her Maj`s" finest!

Wearing polo shirts made out of bell tents, having tattoos and/or a pony tail, bling jewllery from Argos etc

Pumping your fist at your opponent shouting "in your face Looooooooooooooooooooser" was enough to start a fight I found.

It is not widely known that one darts player in three is fatter than the other two!
