Afternoon All,

I live in the south east and I am currently looking for a small van (Astra, Berlingo) I have a budget of £2k max. At the moment there seems to be a lot of high mileage vans for stupidly high prices.

With the upcoming London low Emmission Zone from january 2012 do you think it would be worth me holding out until then to purchase a van? do you think the Van market will be flooded with cheap vans?

I have a purchaser collecting my current vehicle on Saturday so I will be without a car for a couple of months but I can share my wifes (but will be a complete pain in the ....)

Any responses are much appreciated.

Long time no see, welcome back! :)

Both the Astra van and Berlingo van weigh less than 1,205kg unladen so won't be prohibited from entering the LEZ.

If you do buy a non-compliant van, are you certain you won't need to take it into London at some point in the future?
