In the last few days not all new posts in Computer Related appear on my screen with the red 'new' marker.

The other forums are working as usual.

It's no big deal, but I wondered if others were having the same experience?

As I've mentioned before, I use the 'back' button on my browser to go back to the unread list and since we've had the extra adverts at the bottom of the forum, I have to press the back button three times to get it to work.

I wonder what else is loaded with each page?

Not possible Z, they're flawless don't cha know.

I get the impression it's the Cookies which determine when the new message appears. If you block the Cookies then all messages appear as new.

I think I've seen this happen in the past, although don't remember it being one particular forum. It didn't last very long and seemed to sort itself out; haven't seen it recently.

Perhaps try another browser (just as an experiment) and/or email the mods to see if anything's changed their end.

I shut the computer down last night, and I am now getting the 'new' message.

I'm wondering if yesterday's heat befuddled my thought processes and I imagined the whole thing, but I don't think so.
