When someone phones my son's mobile, the caller hears one ring ring, then they hear a Busted song with faint ring ring in the background. This obviously stops when he answers it.
Now I know that you can set up ringtones on a phone when someone is calling you but I have never heard of the caller hearing anything other than ring ring down the line.
Anyone any ideas? My son doesn't know and he doesn't like Busted so don't think it is something he has done deliberately. Phone is a Nokia 5800.

The "busted" ringtone is on Murdoch`s phone!
|
Is it only on one particular callers phone? IE if you phone him do you get it?
|
No, doesn't matter who phones him, the caller hears this in the earpiece....

It is a chargeable service, referred to as a "ringback" tone (as opposed to a ringtone), that your son - or someone who has access to his phone - has activated.

T-Mobile 1st offered this service - known as "calling Tunes" I believe
Pretty pointless IMO

lots are 'free' to be downloaded to you, but you pay £1 a month.
