I agree, an elegant early bit of kit....designed by a genius.
Not so elegant but a technical Victorial marvel...still working well.

Our familt grave is just by the canal there and me ole mam used to take me to see the aqueduct and the road bridge working on Sunday visits to the grave in the early 50s.
