That is actually very cool, I wonder how it performs as a tent though?

I agree Ratts - I don't half fancy it ! Performance might be a bit flat given an ancient air-cooled boxer and the aerodynamics of a brick.

The other issue is it will stand out a bit, so you would need to be careful where it was pitched, I can see it being vandalised at festivals.

Top find Robbie, that is cracking.

Buy that Rats, and I shall creep up in the middle of the night and assault your tent with this:

Top find? This was in AutoExpress a few weeks back.

As as an idea.... worthless. At a festival it will be stolen.

I must admit that if I still had my old Electra Glide I'd consider one of those VW tents. Spec looks good, reasonably compact but unfortunately a bit on the heavy side for the Sporty.

What I like most is the generous internal headroom. That and the fact that some idiot at a bike rally is guaranteed to whinge about the "camper van" on the field.

No problem trying to find your abode after a barrel-emptying session either..... although if it's one of my more serious nights I can envisage me trying to unzip one of the stallholders' Transits in error!
