Our van's road tax expires tomorrow.
For reasons which are long and boring, we will not get the V5 until tomorrow and do not physically have the MOT certificate although we know it is valid. We do not have the tax disc renewal form either.
Have looked online for help on this but I am wondering if the local DVLA offices can access the MOT database online or will they insist on seeing the original?
Is there an easy way of getting this road tax renewed?

Do you know when and where the MOT was done?
If so, the issuing station can supply you with a copy.

Tony, that's a thought, it was me who took the van for MOT last year so will check with garage tomorrow if they can provide a copy.
Garage was relatively local so could nip up there tomorrow.

Renew on-line and MoT is checked electronically (as is insurance) -job done.

To renew on line you need the V5 and or the Renewal invite.
