Diesel spillage ?

Phew, thought he was going to spin out.

He was giving it big licks, and went through some sort of overhead gantry warning pretty quickly, what it warned of i could quite make out.

I was wondering how he was going much quicker than the other traffic.

Maybe they had read something he was not aware of ?

Not sure about spillage of diesel but suspect there was a stop at the next service area for new undercrackers.

Rubbish road positioning, for each curve he was in the wrong part of the road cutting down his sight lines, and had he been on the outer of the bend when the skid started he would have had more room on his right, Like every amateur speeder he was trying to drive into apexes too soon. It looked like lift off oversteer.

To be fair tho he had quick hands, and did not over correct like most of us do at speed. It looked

YouTube title mentions ' Un plaque d'huile '

Isn't that something like ' an oil spillage ' ?
No one else skating though and didn't see any wreckage or bent Armco from previous miscreants.

The radio clearly drowned out the paaaaaaaarp....

Great reflexes though. You could see he was going to catch the first slide, but I was expecting the snap back to catch him out. My old Sierra was a swine for that.

Very nicely done.

Your old Sierra was RWD. Ours would try to swap ends at 20mph on a damp bend if booted too early. And that was only a 1.8.

"What Car?" don't love all German Cars. They always praise VW, Mercedes and BMW (and adore the VW Golf in particular), but are down on Audi and Opel in general.

Sorry, How can you be up on a wonky car such as Audi...Should have left out the wonky car.

It is an early A4 though I think ('94 - '98), so almost certainly no ESP, tyre pressure warning system etc. IIRC a passanger airbag was extra!!
