Please excuse a simple question and forgive me if I've got the wrong idea about this.
At the recommendation of my friend I have installed Dropbox and it seems to work well between my Mac and my Ipod and, presumably, any other computer I might use to log into it.
Would it be possible to use Dropbox like Photobucket or whatever, so pictures and things could be shared with sites like this one?

Dropbox has special folders called shared and public. If you keep files at shared, then you can send link to that folder to anyone with whom you want to share the files. Using public means anyone can access the file.
