Just got the bike running, the fuel must be 18 months old, I really thought it would be stale though I had syphoned some into the Honda mower and that ran fine on it ... as now does the ZRX.

It is V-Power, I wonder if that has a longer shlf life than normal unleaded.

Run it on a light load (to avoid detonation from reduced octane rating) it'll be fine :-)

the biggest problem is all the dust, scurve, cobwebs and dandruff which get into the tank.
and damp.

ive started 2st and 4st outboards on 4-5yr old fuel and they still run but may miss a little sometimes
