IMHO the judge made absolutely the right decision and I would imagine that the value of the vehicles is per vehicle.
This sort of thing has been going on unchecked for many years and is the reason why foreign firms can aford to undercut British hauliers.
Only recently have the Police and VOSA been given the powers to act, and it's good to see they are both using those powers wisely.
Now all we need is the same work ethic to be applied around Stranrear, Pembroke, Hull, Dover and Folkestone.
Then, and only then we may see our own Haulage industry start to make a small recovery.
Just to make it clear, these vehicles are not maintained and the drivers are not regulated in how many hours they work.....with the blessing of their companies.
