Ok, this is NOT an 'eat your heart out' thread, just a description of what I've been up to...
Had an Opel Corsa for a few days as a test car. Horrid. Hideous. BRIGHT yellow, 3 door, 1.4 and all bling.
Then had a whirl in the California.
From Camps Bay to Hout Bay. And back. In 33C weather.
Ask HenryK. he knows the road.
Today, was up at Killarney, where Dave Piper and his band of friends, plus some others, are having an historics race meet this weekend.
SO MUCH awesomeness... Galaxies, Fairlanes, Biscaynes, Ferraris, Gt40s, Porkers (917 K DROOL material) Vettes, Mustangs, Lolas etc etc etc etc
Stood at the pit wall. Was a gentleman, and gave my ear-protectors to a young lady photographer.
Love it.

Some glorious motoring roads in Western Cape.
I used to drive down from Namibia and after hundreds of kms on autopilot I couldn't wait to get to the passes around Citrusdal.
I had a Cortina 3.0S and then an XR6 Interceptor at the time and they were a real hoot on those roads. I'd love to get something like a new ZR1 Corvette on there now.
