Do we really need the word "f a r t" in the swear filter? I don't mind the proper "F" word being censored but this seems a bit silly. I don't think anyone will be offended!

I remember objecting to my (attempted) use of 'arty-f***y' being censored on HJ. I agree - if crap is allowed, don't see why this shouldn't be.

You'd be surprised. Among other things it can be used in name calling - which being the friendly forum this is, we don't allow.

Locking this one before other suggestions of what words should or shouldn't be in the filter.
