I recently had my car serviced. The dealer contacted me as a follow up and I returned a customer satisfaction questionnaire.
KIA have just contacted me to check on opinion of the dealer, checking whether the car was washed etc.
I have not had that level of follow up from any other manufacturer.

BMW do it, both car and motor-cycles...
|
Ii had it with renault, and VW

I had a similar experience but Kia.co.uk were not asking so much about the dealer, more along the lines of are you a happy customer with your purchase etc.
I do have to admit though, any problems with the car and it has been sorted very quickly.
Try taking say a Vauxhall or Ford back to the dealer after 12 months to get something fixed, they would happily do the work once the wallet had been depleted of cash.

I had a phone call from Arnold Clarke when I bought my Panda. Although it was just AC checking up on AC and the person on the phone was trying put words in my mouth. It seemed to be half baked and not at all trustworthy.

Used to get ones from Ford after both purchase and service.
|
The Ford dealer made a minor balls-up of my last service but did their best to sort it out.
Plenty of fine words on the telephone and a cheque in the post - can't say fairer than that.

I had a similar experience with a Ford dealer, I got a full refund. It has now changed hands, but has the same staff. Won't be using them again.

After a service on my daughter's SEAT, no word of a lie, the dealer sent me a survey, then their group holding company, then SEAT UK, then SEAT in Spain!
I told them all how carp the dealer was and never heard anymore from any of them, although there was a different service manager next time I went, and he told me he'd cleared out most of the old staff.

VW dealer I use ask for a score on their performance when you pick up and usually get a follow up from one of these survey companies to check afterwards
|
Honda always do it, and so did Vauxhall when I had my Omega.
|
i stopped phoning up my ex customers
apparently wheezing and long gaps of no speak are frowned upon in this country ;-)
