Was wanting to look at batteries at Halfords but their site seems to be down still. Anyone know what the issue is? To my mind it seems like they forgot to renew the domain name!!

Both .com and .co.uk are sending me to a domain name company.
|
It is working for me, I am on the site now.

You need to go via opendns or googledns if your ISP is still caching the old domain registration site.
|
I got forwarded to Halfords.com when i typed in .co.uk
Looking at the site now.

Well that reminded me, I need some of that gold paint to repair a dmaged element on my heated rear window. Search seems a bit basic as I'm returned 600 results covering every paint from glow in the dark to floor!!
|
And using the specific 'heated rear window repair kit' returns 3338 results. Amazon looks hopeful however.

Thanks BB, thats the stuff. Got a bit careless sellotaping the L platz while Mis B was still a learner.

Our council 'forgot' to renew the local registry office licence a few years ago and was unlicensed for a few months until the council realised. They were taken to court by couples who had taken mortgages out etc and they wanted to know if in fact they were legally married.
But of course these people who make these blunders get paid big money because 'we must attract the best' that's why your council tax/ prices in shops etc are so high. Typical of this country.

So is it working for you yet Diamond? If not you could always use the IP address and bypass using DNS altogether:
195.167.184.225
But I get this redirected to www.halfords.com straight away. Sounds like your DNS service has not updated yet.

I you're still having problems, there's a rather dated review of the Halfords Standard Battery here: tinyurl.com/6rpzqn
I've had one on my car for a few years.
