Don't normally read or watch adverts, but (just out of curiosity) I read every word of the half page ad in today's Daily Mail by Nissan. The splurge mentions driving down costs with 3 years free servicing, roadside assistance and loan rate - "simple, clear affordable". Very clear, except for one thing that's not mentioned: the cost of the car, a Micra. Deliberate policy? I find it odd, especially when manufacturers like Toyota and Fiat, advertising in the same paper, major on the purchase price.

Advertisers concentrate on the good (often "free" things) in the hope that when you arrive at the purchase time you will be so overwhelmed by those "good" points you will miss the bad ones... Obviously Toyota and Fiat feel that the price is better to sell their cars than freebies...

They're selling a finance deal, not a car :-(
