One line means no parking.
Two lines means no parking at all.
Three lines means no parking at all at all.

A few years ago there was a campaign to get Eire to drive on the right like the rest of Europe.

It failed when somebody pointed out that in some places the border with North Ireland runs along the middle of the road!

I thought the idea in Eire was that the trucks would start driving on the right on a Monday, and the cars would join in on the Tuesday.

And bikes on Wednesdays!

A group of Irish men from the University of Cork spent their anaul €6bn research budget from the Irish government in developing a car which ran of Whiskey.

The engine was a big sucess reaching 30mpg until a researcher from the University of East Essex blondes faculty pointed out that petrol is actually a lot cheaper than whiskey.

I will get my coat!

Truth is stranger than fiction (to coin a phrase).
The thing that always cracks me up when driving in Ireland is going into a village and seeing 'SLOW' painted on the road.
Then 200 yards further on 'SLOWER'.
