Peugeot 206 hatchback - 02 1.1 car electrics frozen and will not start - touchstone

When trying to start my car it acts like it has a flat battery, but also the electrics seem to be playing up - the wipers and lights came on for no reason. I have tried jump leads but that hasn't worked. it did hit -10 last night so is it best just to leave it until the weather gets better?

Replace the battery. All will be well again.

thanks for your help. when you say replace the battery, can I just remove it clean connectors and make sure it is fully charged then put it back?

You might get away with that - but if it is the original battery it will be past its best - new one maybe ?
