DVLA Sorn. - Ted

Got a SORN acknowledgment letterv in the post this morning.
Nothing unusual there, I've had plenty in the past, together with plenty ofr 'change of keeper' letters....all filed away with my motoring stuff.

Normally, I just look at the reg number and that's it.
For some reason, i read it and saw it was signed by a lady who works in the 'DVLA Central Capture Unit '

I had visions of DVLA staff armed with huge nets wandering the streets bagging SORN offenders.

What's behind the name of this unit ? any ideas ?
