This came up in my RSS, pretty cool. I figured cats and dogs just drank more or less the same way. Trust the dog, ladel tongue, to be less refined... :-) (i love dogs too...)

There's an enjoyable bit in one of the papers seeking some donations for a wojtek the bear memorial --> en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wojtek_(soldier_bear) Hand reared bear during WWII that, among other things, trapped a spy in a shower (bear liked a shower but they locked the shower block to stop him going in, spy picked the lock, found cowering in the corner when the bear saw a chance to have a shower...)
That should prop up the animal lover's quota...
