 M25 Motoring Hell. - Zero
Due in the East Midlands this morning.

Radio informs M25 closed C/W J21, stopped back to J17.
M40/A40 eastbound stopped for 8 miles.
North Circular at Standstill
Tubes on strike.
M25 gridlocked A/C at Dartford crossing.

Fabo doodo.

My journey was a very convoluted, but ultimately very pretty interesting journey cross country over the chilterns. I just drove far enough NW on the m40, and told tomtom tim to take the shortest route thereafter.

Do you have TT Traffic service and, if you do, was it any good/accurate?

I have the TMC receiver for it, didn't use it as I knew the "keep well away" option was best. The radio told me before I even fired up.

I'd have suggested cutting through darkest Watford to the M1 until I noticed the Tube strike adding to things in't Smoke. So Marlow / M40 / Silverstone (or Coventry) sounds like it was the best option.
