My local Tesco has its Christmas decorations up. All the gardening and bbq display area has been cleared out to make way for the rows of Christmas trees, decorations, baubles, calendars and chocolate Santas. I watched some guys in a cherry-picker as they hung decorations and promotional material from merrily on high. Crackers.

When I worked in Sainsburys we took our first delivery of Easter Eggs in on Hogmonay.

And also from my experience, you will still get punters coming in on Christmas Eve wanting to buy selection boxes and throwing tantrums when you tell them there are none left.

"there are none left." Getaway! They always sell 'em at half price for weeks after Christmas.
