What is it with some EV drivers who think these parking bays are exclusively for them, regardless whether they're charging their milk floats or not?

The amount of EV cars I see in these bays not plugged in, while other EV drivers are trying to find a place to recharge.

Its akin to the non blue badge parking offenders.

Wireless charging is all the rage ya know :-)



Anyway the day will come when the EVs block up fuel pumps in retaliation for the number of times non EVs block the few available slots.


And as an EV driver I agree with "Its akin to the non blue badge parking offenders."

I think Tesla charge you if you stay in the bay past 80% charge or something , but I assume thats if you stay plugged in as opposed to just parked in the bay?

If it becomes a real problem - a camera can take pictures of any cars parked in the EV bay not being charged. Could then be fined or charged for the loss of profit to the charging point operator.

Failure to pay could disable the account making it difficult for repeat offenders to even charge their vehicles.
