Car Giant is closing, theoretically because the business model has changed, but a note says the land is worth £100.000.000.
The local council wanted to "regenerate the area" but the compulsory purchase order failed

I'm sure this vast area of old industrial units will still be redeveloped, just not by the Council. Land all around has been (site on Scrubbs Lane, etc.), I expect the founders £billions will be safe!
