So - back from Whitby

283 miles, (212 miles of Motorway M25/A1/A1M) Ave speed 54mph, 21.1 mpg, slapped the cruise on at 66mph, which means an actual of 63, perfect to keep in middle lane progress on trucks (and no, no-one is going to nick me at 3mph over my speed limit)

No holdups, few roadworks, perfect weather, the joys of 340 hp and a lightly loaded van (bout 1200kg)

Oh for the newbies that are joining us and dont know, thats a BMW G31 540i x-drive, and a swift Basecamp

Wish I had a 540i x- drive for my 733km schlep to Moraira on Friday. Plus a few hours in Toledo.
I delayed my departure from Llanes by 24 hours, wanted an extra 24 hours in Salamanca, and early walk start Saturday with my Spanish chums.
It’s not quite so relaxing in a Vitara
And before any smart Alec comments, a Macan would indeed be preferable..

I hopeyou managed to avoid the torrential rain in Valencia. BBC online has reported flooding in recent days.

Where do you get your Beemer serviced Z? I believe you had a bad experience at BMW in C*bh*m?
