Sad though it is to see the old place go, it's a pleasure to see some old names from our own HJ days appearing in our user list over the last few days.
The issues with user validation have been corrected so if any of you are still having problems please let us know - moderators at car4play dot com - so we can get them resolved.
The look and feel of this site, and more particularly the ambiance and friendliness will be familiar to ex HJ users, but to that end please make sure you are acquainted with the T&Cs etc which are in threads at the top of the non-motoring forum here

We are actively reviewing the requirements of the Online Safety Act and will be updating that documentation shortly as necessary but at the moment we do not expect to have to close the site as a result of the Act.
The moderators here are, in no particular order, VxFan, R.P., car4play and myself. For ready recognition we have a magic wand (or maybe it's a backfiring exhaust!) next to our name on posts, although any posts we make are our own views and don't represent those of car4play or its staff or staff in general, excepting when we are posting a moderating matter. We are all hoping to continue to enjoy an easy life here :-)

It's nice to see a few new faces around already :-)
We've now completed catching up with the outstanding emails which were stuck in the system and I believe that all accounts are live, although the user may not have had the email telling them so - however I have mailed each individually tonight to check.
