 Google map issue - sooty123
I can't seem to get it to recognise where i am, as in with location on. I've turned location on on my phone, uninstalled it, reinstalling it, turned incognito mode on and off. Nothing seems to work for it recognise where i am in relation to directions on Google maps. Any ideas?

Odd thoughts...

Try some other location aware app - maybe Waze, or even FlightRadar which I expect you have! - to see if it's the app or the phone.

If it's the app

- make sure Google Maps has permission to see your location.

- clear the cache (go to Maps in Apps and somewhere inside storage there's a button)

I've not got either of those but I'll try another map app.

I hadn't noticed that there is a permission buried in one of the menus. All sorted thanks
