Away in the caravan for the weekend.
On arriving on site on Friday we realised our leisure battery was fubar and cooking itself rather then charging. Removed and let it cool down.
Replacement clicked and collected from Halfords at Winnersh in commendably short order.
On return to the 'van I couldn't find the key ring with the 'van key which I was semi convinced I'd put in the zipped security pocket of my trousers. Used Mrs B's and then appropriated the spare from the car.
Thorough search of the 'van and places keys might have fallen drew a blank as did a rudimentary check of hiding places in the car. Next step would have been to empty the boot which contains a fair amount of clobber.
This morning, Mrs B tidying up after making pot of tea #2, beckons me over to the stove with a big grin on her mush.
Keys were nestling at the back of the recess where the gas ring controls are.
We'd cooked two meals since they went AWOL without either of us seeing them.

Got Apple AirTag on mine. Saves all that hunting and plaintive request of “anyone seen my keys”

Does the Air Tag need you to have Apple kit like an I-Phone?

Yes, Its the only Iphone feature of any use. Mostly because it uses everyone elses I phones.
It wont however tell you where in the caravan it is, just in or near the caravan.

I bought a few of these (Android and considerably cheaper than AirTag).

Not used them in anger. I believe they attach to your Bluetooth on your phone and the app remembers where the phone last saw them (i.e. you went out of range of BT). So not much use if someone picks up your lost item and moves it but at least you know where you lost it, but better than nothing I suppose.

I missed the location. I used to visit the Triangle for business.
I guess that's where Halfords were, not the location of the caravan site. :-D
