Best advert I’ve seen in yonks.
Pure homage to the Italian Job…red, white & blue cars, gate that slams shut and a favourite Bowie track. Maybe other IJ bits I’ve missed.
What’s not to like.

A fun way to differentiate the C3 from the rest of EV advertising - I hope the C3 will be affordable, and retain traditional Citroen quality - comfort (or sloppy suspension depending on POV).

The Italian job comparison is obvious - but the French flag is also red, white and blue - perhaps a Francophile rather than Michael Caine celebration

That's one very busy advert!

The reviews are firmly positive. I am looking forward to the review of the Panda version.

Apparently the ride on the Citroen has been described as "Rolls Royce" like - optimistic no doubt but encouraging if you're after comfort.

I thought the link with the Tricolour flag and the Italian Job minis was clever.
I’ve had a good few C3 rentals…never liked them.

A few years ago on an extended Spain break I rented three different basic poverty spec cars.

Corsa - unremarkable but much better than the reputation which preceded it
Ibiza - precise and did all that I expected it to
C3 - soft seats, soft suspension

The one I would take home - C3 no question. Not for fun, little steering feel, but quiet and felt like being in a car twice its price. Takes all sorts!!

I just rebooked my March car hire booking for Portugal. I have more sensible cars also booked at a higher (but still cheap price) but what's to not like about 7 weeks car hire for €121 except it's a VW UP LOL

I did once have a C3 rental but I don't recall what it was like...

And that sums it up perfectly. I had one in October, and I cant remember two months later what it was like. Its an adequate form of transport, nothing more, nothing less.

Fairly sure it was what we had in Tenerife last year.

If it was a sandwich it would have been processed cheese on white bread. Does the job but no more.

Seat Leon Estate or similar booked for our next jaunt; Madeira in late March.

Unfortunately that's what many people want.

My eldest had a Cat-D C3 as his first car. He subsequently wrote it off again delivering pizzas (on third party only Pizza Co. insurance) so we repaired it again using the cheapest pattern/used parts available. His cousin now has the car and has added a few more dents. It is still doing sterling service after 10 years, even with a wet belt!

I’ve done a lot of car rentals but never anything that cheap…DYS or direct with OK ? Cheapest ever was €3 a day, Ibiza in February.

I now prefer ‘road trips’, 7 or 8 weeks twice a year, May/June & September/ October. Portsmouth > Santander or Bilbao to explore Andorra & Spain.
The 21:30 sailing from Portsmouth, arriving 08:00 36 hours later suits me fine…really enjoy it.
Expensive, with a nice cabin, but friends use that crossing to explore the ‘Green Coast’ of Cantabria whilst driving to southern Portugal via the Portugal/ Spain border.

Maybe worth considering smokie ?
