Well - it took some time, but after promising delivery in November - the toolchest that I ordered has finally been delivered.
I wanted it because I need to tidy up the accumulation of tools in the garage and it was a bit of a bargain - I have wanted one for some time and have been monitoring the prices. It was £500 off the non-sale price and £200 off the normal sale price (been looking at it for 2 or 3 years) so I jumped at the chance.
It's reasonable quality but not to Snap On Tools standards, but then it was a third of the price and I am not a professional - so don't need that quality. It will certainly help tidy up the garage.
The logistics company subcontracted the delivery to an independent man with a van. He came with a mate and told me it took 9 of them at the depot to load it on to the van. It's on a pallet so why didn't they use a forklift!?
It came in two boxes and weighs 406lbs - according to the outside of the box - I'm hoping that's an exaggeration when I come to put the two halves together!

I have a post to make about that - though it's a happy ending!
