Talking of which...13:30 charabanc to Kirkby Lonsdale today, taking light refreshment with friends. Last bus back at 16:45.
Royal Barn, Orange Tree, Kings Arms

Skipton next week on the train..another civilised afternoon with friends pre Christmas.

Lager isn't beer, it's fizzy pop for the masses :-) (and unreasonably expensive depending on the name on the bottle)

Try visiting a 'Spoons, they usually have at least a couple of ales on. And are well regarded by CAMRA for their choice and management of beer,

LL has been known to mention some proper beers on occasion!!

Ossett brewery White Rat late yesterday afternoon after my walk

Today Devils Bridge IPA x 2 or 3 in Royal Barn ( one of my very favourite beers).then two other pints before the bus back..hoping for Jarl, an excellent session blonde with bags of citrus flavours..brewed by Fyne Ales, normally available in the Kings Arms.

Bus driver often stops for a pee in Ingleton, so those with a weak bladder follow his lead. Fortunately I’ve not reached that stage yet.
