New Tue 3 May 22 19:54   Flourescent light fitting - bathtub tom

The (6ft) one in my loft started buzzing a couple of weeks ago when turned on. Today it got much louder and then failed. I don't have another 6ft available to check if it's the tube or fitting. It doesn't have a starter, so I presume it's 'self starting'. I don't want to buy another tube only to find it's the fitting. I suspect it's the fitting. What's the opinion here?
