Can’t find a way to post a picture so a couple of signage’s that at best are ambiguous

“P MON-SAT 9 AM -11 AM , 2.30-4.30 pm , PERMIT HOLDERS ONLY “ ,

So that means , outside those hours it’s Free parking for everyone else .

The one I encountered yesterday

P MON FRI 10Am -Noon , pay by phone 0207 7125 0044 quoting location

Or PAY AT MACHINE

DISPLAY TICKET MAX STAY 1 hr no return for 1 hour .

How would you read this

So only between 10-12 Noon do you have to pay and you can only park there for an hour and no return for an hour . Outside those times , it’s FREE ?? what for only an hour or for as,long as required .

What signs have you seen that has confused you

...I encountered one set like this in France a few years ago (I seem to think it was traversing Rheims)...

I fully understand that I am no longer the resident pedant.

My lanyard and swipe card has been returned to security. Yes, I know.

But, pretty please, can someone do something about the greengrocer's subject heading?

Signages? No need for the final “s” surely.

I've listened to so many of these and I've found them amazing especially considering what happened to the presenter during Covid, but his episode seems very fitting...
