I don't think her activism was in any way related to her shooting, she was the g/f of someone at a party where all hell broke loose and she got in the way, either deliberately or not, I don't know.

Woman is (a) activist for Black community and (b) simply in wrong place/wrong time when guns are used.

No evidence she was targeted and case against the men initially charged won't withstand proposed defence.
