I am using Outlook 7 (with Windows 7) and have created some extra mail folders. I now want to get rid of them but can't. The Help facility is, as usual, no help! Can anyone suggest a method, other than the "delete" button (which does not work as the folder names can't be highlighted)please?

You really mean Outlook 7, as comes with Office 2007? Right clicking on the folders always gives me the delete option.

Yes, that is whatt I mean. Right clicking does not give me the delete option. I expected the task to be made difficult as one could easily delete vital folders such as Inbox, but I expected to be able to get rid of what I had added.

Hmmm... they aren't in a file (pst file) which no longer exists are they? (Daft idea, but it's the best I've got...)
Can you copy a mail to them then try again?

Some how or other, fiddling and fumbling around, they have disappeared...
