Has no one got a link to the viral Polo ad, Small but Tough, with the suicide bomber blowing himself up inside one outside a fashionable restaurant, and the windows don't even break? I loved it. Really bad taste and politically incorrect.

I got the DVD of that from the motor show that year. The ad was filmed in only 3 shots but took days to get all the pieces to interact correctly. The first half of the ad was one continuous shot and the second half was recorded in 2 versions, one finishing with the saloon and the other the estate.

The original video of Rapper's Delight by the Sugar Hill Gang was included too. (The music used at the end of the advert.)

Visually one of the best, which must have been one of the first CGI ones, was for Alfa Romeo. There were some skaters in skintight blue outfits with smoked out visors on ther crash helmets, skating on what appeared to be a big frozen lagoon in Venice and being followed, move for move, by a nice shiny Alfa. Don't recall the model - we are talking 30 years ago! For technology I'd go with the Honda one(s) just great!
