Mercedes Benz SLS Gullwing - Problem with the doors? - Perky Penguin
A friend in Bracknell tells me that the local main dealer has put his own car up for sale and that they have had 3 orders cancelled. The alleged reason is that some people, seated in the car and ready to drive off, haven't got long enough arms to reach the doors to shut them! At the price asked I am suprised that there isn't some sort of power assist. Any thoughts? Smokie have you got long arms?

I am waiting for reports of someone rolling one in an accident. To see pictures of the doors jettisoned by the explosives to get rid of the doors - they won't work upside down will they. But if a lot cannot close the doors in the first place :-) that not a good design.
I wonder if any short F1 drivers (most of them?) have had this problem?

My garage door has a length of string with a plastic handle for the vertically challenged, MB have missed a trick if they are not selling them as an expensive accessory.
