No need. You multiply say the first digits so you know it ends in 8, which eliminates two of the answers. Then the next, which narrows the answer down to only one.
That's the point with multiple choice - you don't need to know anything, just progressively eliminate the possibilities that don't fit.
It's not like a real exam.
