After being voted number one for customer satisfaction Tesco is saying thank you to all their pay as you go customers by giving them £5 free credit.

To claim your £5 text the word THANKS to 26929 from your tesco mobile for free, before midnight on Sunday August 15th, and it will be applied to your account within 48 hours.

i actually thought the same Duncan
their tariffs for payg are better and cheaper but i couldnt find a clam phone with camera off them last week
apparently clam phones are so last year but very good in my line of business

Well I tried and it didn't come through. OK I'm with ASDA but I think that's just using a technicality :-)

Surely one of the benefits of PAYG is you can buy your phone anywhere, so if ASDA don't have a clam phone, get one somewhere else?

I've claimed my £5 this evening and got the confirmation text within a couple of minutes.

I don't use the phone much so that will probably see me through to next year!
