Despite the poppycock of all superstitions, many people still seem wary of them.
Consider though, the absurdities of whether superstitions 'travel':
If a foreigner visits this country and fails to salute a solitary magpie, is bad luck going to befall him - even though that particular superstition is unheard of in his country?
Similarly, can I visit his country and ignore said magpie?
Absolute rubbish, of course - touch wood!
