Do you use Evernote?
I was a heavy user of Evernote but after they limited it to 2 devices for free users, I am now looking for alternatives. I understand web interface doesn't count as a device and you can log out from other devices before continuing in this one, it still feels a bit of pain. Also it seems like they are no longer having the vision. Their founder and former CEO had a vision of making Evernote a 100-yr old company but new management is having different vision.
Didn't like Onenote that much. The closest EN alternative I found is Nimbus Notes.
Nimbus Note's Windows desktop application has several bugs. Web interface is good though. But this is what I found closest match. It also offers a mechanism to import your Evernote database (you can then request a free month of premium version so that you can import your entire EN database if it is bigger than 100 MB - the usual monthly limit for free users).

Yes

So why not pay and use Evernote for £29.99/annum? It's a very good product and someone has to pay to develop and support it.

Because at this moment my requirement is being served by other free products.

But you asked who had found something to replace Evernote that was as good. Your choice is apparently buggy and you alluded to wanting to find something better.

Currently I am using Nimbus Notes. Will use it for few weeks (without touching Evernote) and will see if it can complete replace EN.
