Dead or Alive singer Pete Burns has died aged 57 after suffering a cardiac arrest, his management has said.

He was a singer in the 80s. More recently he had an eccentric lifestyle that put him in the media.

Although I admit your reaction was the same as mine when reading bobby vee had died.

I certainly had no idea who Bobby Vee was despite knowing more than average about music in that era for my age. I suppose I have a very rose tinted view of that era!

I always thought Pete Burn's was a little strange so didn't know a great deal about him, Dead or Alive made some great tracks though and it is another loss for the music industry.

He rented a flat in a block of flats we manage. His behaviour made him very unpopular with the other residents. But then you could probably guess that, couldn't you!
